Voodoo x - The Awakening.Vol.I

After releaseing a number of solo albums, Jean Beauvoir (also ex Plasmatics) formed Voodoo X and promptly entered the hallowed halls of the classic melodic rock band. Crunching riffs, pop rock sensibilities are the trademarks Beauvoir would carry on into a new era of melodic rock with Crown Of Thorns. Crown Of Thorns s/t debut is a classic of the genre, but really is only an extension of his work with Voodoo X. Jorn-Uwe Fahrenkrog-Peterson was ex Nena Hagen band. Tommy Lafferty would eventually join FROM THE FIRE, releasing another classic, but more Aor orientated album "Thirty Days, Dirty Nights" (which Beauvoir produced).
Voodoo X track "The Awakening" appeared on the horror movie sound track for SHOCKER
